Why this pig is here

The story behind Elvis.

Elvis is registered as SDLRDG Andrew 5, and his page is a good example of why I wanted the herd section to be more than a row of registration numbers. There are now documented litters in the BF Farm records from different seasons, which means his breeding history can be followed instead of merely assumed. That is the part I enjoy about keeping the records and the animals side by side: the paperwork tells me where he came from, while the litter history starts showing where his influence has gone.
