Why this pig is here

The story behind Jackie.

Jackie is registered as DWF Jenny 10 and is one of the senior sows in the current BF Farm herd. I think older animals deserve a little room on a herd page because they put the newer faces into perspective. Jackie's pedigree reaches back through a different branch than several of the family clusters you will see elsewhere here, and her age gives her profile a kind of quiet weight even before I add the personal stories and quirks that only come from years of knowing the pig herself.
