Why this pig is here

The story behind Lizzy.

Lizzy is registered as A Peculiar Farm Awakino 2, and she adds another separate pedigree thread to the BF Farm herd. Not every animal has to arrive with a daughter, granddaughter, or long list of current relatives to be worth introducing. Sometimes the story is simply that this sow carries a different family history into the same pasture. As I add my own observations about Lizzy, this page can grow from the pedigree framework into the much more personal version of her that I actually know.

Heritage

A family tree with real pigs behind the names.

The recorded pedigree currently available at BF Farm traces through sire Paisley's Pasture Pigs Boris 15 and dam Hog on the Range Awakino 2. I keep these relationships visible because a pedigree is more useful when I can connect the names on paper to animals and generations I have actually managed.

Breeding record

What the current BF Farm records document.

I do not yet have a completed litter record loaded for Lizzy. That is not the same as saying she has never farrowed; it simply means I would rather leave the number open than turn an incomplete archive into a lifetime claim.

0documented litters
0AKKPS-notified litters
0piglets born in those records
0historical AKKPS notifications added so far

These counts combine current BF Farm litter records with the historical AKKPS notifications added to this herd archive so far. They are a documented minimum, not a lifetime total, until the older notification history is complete.
