Why this pig is here

The story behind Kalani.

Kalani is registered as Bel Canto Farm Wilsons Gina 12 and carries one of the lowest AKKPS numbers among the animals in the current BF Farm herd. She is also one of the older sows here, which gives her pedigree a different sense of time from the younger females just beginning their own records. I want her profile to feel like that: less like a catalog entry and more like one of the long-standing names in the herd, with my own observations added as I continue filling in the personal side of her story.
